Bill Schulz lives in Portland, Maine. His work has appeared in The Aurorean, Nine Mile, Nixes Mate, and The Seneca Review. His first book of poetry - A Consistent Response to The Impossible - will be published in 2019. He set out on a path to recovery from addiction a little more than two years ago. He's worked to create a drawing on each day of recovery and has, for the most part, succeeded. Each original image is small - typically no more than 4"x4" - and reveals a landscape of challenge and grace.
