Harold, a young accountant

who looks more like an old economist,

is in his bedroom lifting

underwear up his legs when he thinks

he will start a political revolution.

   Chants!

                 Marches!

    Signs!

Momentarily he is a mess of these things.

Then his penis disappears

beneath the black fabric of his briefs,

an elastic snap.

He drops the idea and bends

for his office pants.

Perhaps placeless, Sky O’Brien lives and moves between Kelmscott, Western Australia and Elsah, Illinois.
