Alis Hamilton

eye pop ache

an un-seattle’d winter

i lift my face to the water

throughout this rainless season

my cure-all burning

i've been reading about faith

healers, but my faith is

only waking up in the morning

healing hot water poured

over cold skin

pounding on pounding

tearless eyes
