WYETH AND METROPOLITAN

A nomination of Blackbirds -

Each wing beats a second of creation

As Seven Universes

Pass lazily through a summer day -

A slip of lemonade.

A Quintillion Blackbirds sing -

Their songs gather and poise upon dreams for the unborn as

They wait forever.
